Church Communities

Serving the needs of your congregation

Are you wondering if Pasque Architecture

can help your church?

  • Is there water collecting in the basement every spring? And it happens again after making repairs? Mopping up the water doesn’t resolve the leak. It can take a full building and site review to track where water may be coming from.

Invite Pasque Architecture to visit your building. We understand the call to be good stewards of the buildings that house our church family.

  • Part of corporate worship is welcoming church visitors and members into the Sanctuary. Many buildings require accessibility updates to accommodate scooters, assistants, and non-visible disabilities. This can be as small as extending handrails or modifying pew layouts. Or as big as installing a lift or remodeling restrooms.

Pasque Architecture can perform an accessibility assessment. We will look at barriers or challenges people face when attending your church. We will then recommend which elements will provide the greatest impact to your congregation’s use of the church and increase the value of your building.

  • Are you wondering if that crack in the sanctuary ceiling has always been that wide? Or if that stain was in the Narthex last fall? Cracks and water stains can seem superficial - but they are often signs of other underlying conditions. Whether your church building is new or old, there may be signs that your building is ‘sick’.

Call Pasque Architecture about your observations. We look into these signs and can connect you with the necessary professionals. For example, a water leak may be the roof, driving rains, a pipe leaking, a mechanical system failure, or any other host of underlying causes. Depending on the severity, it may have caused structural damage in addition to unsightly stains. If you don’t know which trade to call, start with an architect.

  • A growing congregation is a blessing - but it can overload the nursery, classrooms, and fellowship hall. There may be a need to revisit the interior design or layout of your Sanctuary to align with your worship style. Or to add an addition to the building for a new pre-school or mission outreach.

Reach out to Pasque Architecture to explore the possibilities of aligning your church building to your Congregation’s needs. Our congregation was worried about the cost of an entry addition and lift. But after a Schematic Pricing Set, we determined it was worth it to bring members into the Sanctuary. We didn’t want anyone else left in the vestibule during worship.
